The next landing spot of defensive back Jalen Ramsey has been an interesting story in the NFL offseason of late. Although he’s still technically with the Miami Dolphins, the two sides have already agreed to part ways, as the team looks to find a trade partner to finish their saga with the cornerback.

Among those being linked to the seven-time Pro Bowler are his former team, the Los Angeles Rams, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have been at the center of a loud social buzz lately when fans noticed Ramsey already following veteran defensive tackle Cam Heyward on Instagram.

Ramsey’s move to follow Heyward can definitely mean nothing more than just, well, a follow.

But given the rumors and the lack of clarity about Ramsey’s future, it’s not much of a stretch for fans to come up with their own theories about what’s next for the former Florida State Seminoles star.

“Please get it done Omar!!”

“OH LETS GO! BEST SECONDARY IN THE LEAGUE IF THIS HAPPENS!”

“Seems like it’s happening ”

“Holy [expletive] this better happen”

“Let’s get another overpaid washed 40 year old corner to play on tomlins mid defense again lol. Surely we win a playoff game now right guys

“Jalen Ramsey you are a Steeler!!!!”

Ramsey, who started his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, can still be a capable defensive weapon downfield, but teams may not be all that interested in giving up assets for someone who just signed a three-year, $72.3 million contract extension in 2024 — just months before Miami decided that it’s time to move on from him.
