George Pickens has made a habit of making big plays on the field, and head-scratching plays off of it.

That was no different on Thursday night when Pickens had a big catch (albeit in a down game) and decided to fight on the final play of the game instead of attempting to catch the ball.

Well, it may end up costing him yet again:

George Pickens Could See Further Discipline From NFL

“The NFL will review George Pickens instigating a fight with Browns cornerback Greg Newsome after the Hail Mary at the end of the Browns’ 24-19 upset of the Steelers, and a fine could be coming.”

- Mark Kay Cabot, Cleveland.Com

The video was damning, as on the final play of the game, when the team could really use their best WR and one of the best jump ball receivers in the league to take a stab at a game-winning play, he's fighting, but it's not for the ball.

Instead, it was with Browns CB Greg Newsome, who completely got George Pickens off his game, in his own head, and then into a scuffle and ultimately into the headlines for all the wrong reasons, yet again and now Pickens may have to pay, yet again.

Pickens as already been fined three times this season, most recently against the Washington Commanders, where he had to pay for a facemask. This punishment has the chance to be more severe, however, as the NFL is already looking into the matter, hinting at a potential suspension or hefty fine.

Pickens refused to comment on the matter after the game, opting to talk about the weather instead:

“The conditions were so bad,” Pickens told reporters when asked about being unable to come down with a TD grab where he was wide open in the endzone. “I don’t even think the QB could see sometimes. When you’ve got conditions like that at the opponent’s home field, it kinda plays in their favor...

"...The conditions played a huge, huge part in today’s game. I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. I think the conditions kinda saved them today.”

We'll see if the NFL spares Pickens or puts their foot down.
