Stefon Diggs draws interest from 5 teams

Stefon Diggs seems likely to find himself a new team sooner rather than later.

Diggs is garnering attention from at least five teams, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The Washington Commanders are “intriguing” to Diggs, but it is not clear how seriously the Commanders might be pursuing him.

Fowler added that Diggs is “highly motivated” this season, as he has been able to work out without having to rehab an ACL injury as he was doing last year. The veteran is targeting a role as a No. 2 receiver for a quality quarterback.

Diggs has seemingly taken it personally that he has yet to be signed this offseason. It is understandable, too. He had 1,013 receiving yards and four touchdowns for the New England Patriots last season, so the 32-year-old has clearly demonstrated that he can still be a productive piece of an offense.

While it is not known which five teams have shown interest in Diggs, we do know there is one in particular that he keeps getting linked to. Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen, but Diggs would presumably like to sign with a team before the end of training camp.
