Stefon Diggs facing paternity lawsuit from an Instagram model

Stefon Diggs and Cardi B are expecting a child together, and the New England Patriots wide receiver is simultaneously facing a lawsuit from a woman who says he is the father of her infant daughter.

Aileen Lopera, a model and social media influencer who is known online as Lord Gisselle, filed a petition in December 2024 to determine who was the father of her child. The petition, which was filed in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles, listed Stefon Diggs as the other parent, according to court documents that were obtained by Page Six.

Lopera was pregnant at the time. She gave birth to the child, a girl, on April 2, 2025. Lopera has asked the court to order Diggs to cover her pregnancy, birth expenses and attorney fees. She has also asked that she be given legal and physical custody of the child and that Diggs be granted visitation rights.

In a response to the lawsuit that was filed in July, Diggs said he is “not certain” that he is the child’s father. The 31-year-old wideout has requested a paternity test. If it is determined that Diggs is the father, he has requested joint legal and joint physical custody as well as all of the aforementioned expenses being split between him and Lopera.

In an interview with “CBS Mornings” that aired on Wednesday, Cardi B revealed that she is pregnant with Diggs’ child and that the two are very happy in their relationship.

Diggs also has an 8-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Cardi B has three other children with fellow rapper Offset.

Diggs and Cardi B, 32, went public with their relationship when they attended a New York Knicks game together in June. There were rumors in July that they had broken up, but Cardi B had a vulgar response to those.

Diggs was asked on Thursday about Cardi B being pregnant with his child, and he deliberately danced around the question.
