Caleb Williams continues to turn doubters into believers this season with his strong performances. He has received praise from analysts, former and current players and his coaches for showing a lot of on and off-field maturity. Stephen A. Smith also made a bold prediction about the Chicago Bears star quarterback.

Williams is coming off another impressive outing on Thursday against the New England Patriots. He completed 22-of-33 passes for 308 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in the 30-24 win. It was his second game back after missing the previous three matchups due to a hamstring injury. The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner recorded 30-of-36 completions for 305 yards and one touchdown in Week 6 versus the Atlanta Falcons.

Stephen A. Smith believes Caleb Williams will lead Bears to a Super Bowl win

Smith predicted on Monday that Williams will lead the Bears to a Super Bowl in the next two years. He added that he has no concerns about the former No. 1 pick’s skill set.

“I think that he is going to lead Chicago to a Super Bowl championship within the next two years,” Smith said. “That’s how I feel about Caleb Williams. It’s the other pieces around him that I have a question about at this particular moment. It’s about them. I have no questions about him… The brother’s special. Caleb Williams is here.”

Williams entered last season with many questioning if he’s Chicago’s long-term answer at quarterback. He more than proved that he is, guiding the franchise to an NFC North title and reaching the Divisional Round.

The Bears are 5-2 so far this season and face a big test in Week 8. They will take on the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks, at Lumen Field. The marquee matchup will be played on Nov. 2 on “Monday Night Football” at 8:15 p.m. ET.
