When it comes to the NFL's most disliked player, it would be easy to assume that it's either Patrick Mahomes or Travis Kelce — given their track record of on-field dominance and polarizing significant others.

But it turns out the most "disliked" player in the league is a quarterback that doesn't really say too much.

According to Vegas Insider, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was found to receive the most hate from fans online — and it wasn't particularly close.

Jalen Hurts named NFL's most 'disliked' player

In a recent study conducted by the Vegas outlet, which based its findings on NFL discussion boards on Reddit, Hurts came away with a Hate Score of 10.0 — drawing the highest amount of negative reactions of any player in the National Football League.

While it isn't exactly clear why the former Super Bowl MVP received so much hate, much of it likely has to do with the popularization of the Eagles' tush push and the way that Philly as a whole has come off so unlikable outside of its most fervent supporters.

As far as Hurts goes, he's always come across buttoned up, professional and team-first. And it also doesn't hurt that he has a SB ring, Jordan Brand deal and some of the best off-field style in the game.

Hurts has never placed a ton of value in stats — only what its in the win column — which is something a lot of fans say they want. But it wasn't enough to save him from the social media backlash, per VI.

Eagles reportedly open to taking QB in 2026 Draft

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, it's not off the table that Nick Sirianni and the Eagles decide to select a quarterback in this April's draft given the team's recent offensive struggles.

"Yeah, that's certainly on the radar from the people I’ve talked to," Fowler said. "We know what they [Eagles] did with drafting Jalen Hurts in the second round when they had Carson Wentz. I believe that formula could work for them yet again."

"It’s a crucial time for Hurts. I believe he’s at a crossroads," the insider continued. "I know he’s had great success there, and some would disagree with that. Some of the shortcomings were pretty obvious last year, and this is now a time where they get a new offensive coordinator in Sean Mannion, who comes from Green Bay, where they did a lot of under-center work… There’s gonna be a change that he’s gonna have to embrace."

"Maybe this can help bring the best out of him, but he’s gonna have to come around to that change. I believe the hire applies a little pressure in that way, subconsciously, whether they want to send a message or not. I believe that it does send a message."

The Eagles signed Hurts to a five-year, $255 million extension back in 2023 with roughly $179 million in guarantees. It also includes a no-trade clause — the first such contract of its kind in the organization's history.
