Super Bowl LVIII bets: Two touchdown props to secure at strong prices

Super Bowl LVIII is still over a week away, but it's never too early to look down the touchdown prop board for some plus-money looks of interest. As we continue our prep for Kansas City vs. San Francisco, we have a pair of TD bets loaded up, one from each offense.

Christian McCaffrey 2+ touchdowns (+260 FanDuel)

It's admittedly gross that McCaffrey's price to score twice is only +260, but it does feel warranted here. San Francisco's star running back has scored in 15 of 18 games this year, and he's notched 2+ scores seven times, including both playoff games this year.

The best way for the 49ers to attack Kansas City is definitely on the ground, as the Chiefs rank 27th in run defense DVOA and have allowed the seventh-most yards per carry this season. Compare that to a secondary that ranks fifth in DVOA and has allowed the third-fewest yards per pass, and you can guarantee that Kyle Shanahan is building much of his gameplan around McCaffrey.

In the last Super Bowl matchup between these teams, 49ers backs scored both of their touchdowns. McCaffrey is going to see his touches and has proven he can beat you with explosive plays or near the goal line.

Skyy Moore touchdown (+1100 Fanatics)

Go light on this one, but if you're looking for some longer odds to play with, look no further than Skyy Moore. Moore injured his knee in Week 15 and hasn't played since, but he was a limited practice participant this week and could be on track to returning from IR for the Super Bowl.

If Moore can reclaim some semblance of his early-season role that saw him see a red zone target in five of his first six games, there's value here. Now, Rashee Rice most definitely took over some of Moore's usage here and is the top wide receiver, and for all we know, Moore might still be four or five on the pecking order when we look at Kansas City pass-catchers.

However, San Francisco has allowed the fifth-most receptions and ninth-most touchdowns to WRs this season. There's room for WRs to produce in the big game.

For good measure, Moore's first ever touchdown came last year, in you guessed it, the Super Bowl. We're in for an encore showing.
