Super Bowl LX Ticket Prices Plummet Following Patriots, Seahawks Conference Titles

Prices for Sunday's Super Bowl have sharply declined over the past week as the resale market continues to reset following the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks locking up their respective conference titles.

Despite strong pricing early, the market has reversed course, with prices steadily falling each passing day. After opening near $6,500, entry-level resale prices for tickets across platforms are now hovering between $4,500 and $5,100.

TickPick, Vivid Seats, StubHub, SeatGeek and Ticketmaster all show steep drops compared to earlier figures, with the NFL claiming that tickets are available "primarily through secondary market platforms," per USA Today Network's Seth Jacobson.

Eric Fisher of Front Office Sports reported Monday that initial resale activity spiked following the end of the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff streak, but that early surge has quickly faded.

That said, Fisher reported a positive development following the Chiefs' failure to make it all the way to the Super Bowl this time: overall, ticket prices surged from past years.

“The end of the Chiefs’ dynasty, at least for now, is aiding a resurgence in the Super Bowl ticket resale market,” Fisher wrote. “As the Patriots and Seahawks clinched their spots Sunday for Super Bowl LX, initial resale pricing for the Feb. 8 event at Levi’s Stadium is showing considerably more strength than a year ago.”

On Tuesday, the cheapest tickets on StubHub reached $6,652 with fees. Within 48 hours, according to Newsday's Ben Dickson, they fell below $5,000 on some marketplaces, with Vivid Seats having the lowest get-in price at $4,507.

“The best time to buy Super Bowl tickets is typically 48 to 72 hours before kickoff,” a SeatGeek representative told Jacobson. “Prices often drop by 25–40% from their post-conference championship peak.”

On Location, the NFL’s official hospitality partner, has bundled offerings that began at $7,500 per person and have dropped to $6,000 by Monday. Those include perks such as tailgate access and live musical performances.

Average prices have dropped to $7,865 per ticket, down from the $8,076 average seen for the Super Bowl in 2025, and well below the record $12,128 set in Las Vegas in 2024.

The Patriots and Seahawks will meet on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET at Levi’s Stadium, airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
