Super Bowl Odds Prediction Model: Lopsided Final Score in Eagles vs. Chiefs?

The Kansas City Chiefs are just one game away from putting the exclamation mark on an unprecedented three-year run that would have included three straight Super Bowl wins.

The Philadelphia Eagles stand in Kansas City's way and present perhaps the biggest challenge to Patrick Mahomes and Co. this postseason, but the Chiefs will be confident and have past Super Bowl experiences to fall back on.

But what does a new oddsmaker's computer have to say?

The Chiefs have a shot at history and becoming the first NFL team to win three straight titles, and while that is a juicy carrot that's dangling in front of Mahomes, he wants the team to be remembered for the run, not just individuals.

"I think it's a tremendous opportunity, and I'm super excited about it," Mahomes said. "It's still surreal to me to be playing in this Super Bowl again, but that's what you want to do, is you want to go out there and be mentioned with the greats, and more than anything I want this team to be remembered for being one of the greatest teams ...''

That is entirely possible. Unless ...

Odds Shark, recognizing that KC is a one-point favorite here, likes the Eagles to win Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans via its "computer model.''

In fact, not only do they have Philly covering the spread, they have the Eagles pulling away from the Chiefs and winning by a touchdown.

Odds Shark's predicted score is ... Philadelphia winning, 26-19.

We're not sure what a "computer model'' does.

But this we know about the Eagles: In Saquon Barkley, they have a chance to have the best player on the field.

And this we know about KC ...

With the Chiefs having such a superb run over the last three years, many don't think something like this will ever be done again, which has some wanting Andy Reid's team to get this win to etch their name into the history books.

And if they do that, it won't be Mahomes or Travis Kelce as the headliners; it will be the team as they take their place atop the best dynasties in NFL history - no matter what computer in Las Vegas thinks.
