Tampa Bay Buccaneers meets with Alabama linebacker ahead of NFL Combine

Alabama football’s linebacker, Justin Jefferson revealed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have met with him.

Jefferson told reporters the NFC squad formally met with him during his NFL Combine media session.

“It was pretty good,” Jefferson told reporters. “I feel like it really went well. I’m blessed and happy just to have the opportunity. I come from JUCO. I don’t come from too much. I’m just blessed to be here, blessed to have anything I have.”

Jefferson started at inside linebacker for the Crimson Tide during the 2025 season. He finished his last season at Alabama with 85 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks.

The Buccaneers have at least one pick in each round of the 2026 NFL Draft. The organization holds the No. 15 overall pick, No. 46 overall pick, No. 77 overall pick, No. 116 overall pick, No. 153 overall pick, No. 193 overall pick and the No. 229 overall pick.

Jefferson will have an opportunity to impress Tampa Bay and other NFL teams at the combine this week.
