Veteran reporter Taylor Rooks shared a lengthy, heartfelt message on Tuesday after Amazon Prime's NFL coverage officially came to an end.
Amazon Prime had largely broadcasted "Thursday Night Football" games throughout the 2024 season, with the lone exception being its Black Friday game coverage in Week 13, per USA Today.
There was also no Thursday night game in the NFL postseason, but Amazon Prime did broadcast its first ever playoff game when it aired the Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers Wild Card showdown on Saturday. The match-up marked the end of the "TNF" crew's season, though.
With their season over, Amazon Prime sideline reporter Taylor Rooks took the time to reflect on the year they had and share her excitement for what lies ahead in her career.
"Another season down with my Amazon family!" Rooks wrote along with a couple of photos and a video from the Steelers-Ravens game. "Wow. 3 years of Thursday Night Football. Really proud of this broadcast and of this team.
"The people in this photo enrich my life and career in so many ways. It was such a devastating week but we all found comfort in being together and being there for each other. Thank you to every single person that makes our show what it is - behind the camera, in the trucks, in production. I am in awe of the dedication and creativity that we commit every Thursday."
Rooks added, "Excited to bring that same spirit to our NBA coverage. Onward." The 32-year-old was referring to her upcoming project with Amazon Prime, when it starts its NBA broadcast next season.
Taylor Rooks has been one of the most popular reporters both in the NFL and NBA, and while football fans won't be seeing her anymore for the rest of the playoffs, there's no doubt that she made her mark this campaign.
