Taylor Swift gave Chiefs fans the perfect new joke at Bills’ expense

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged and it feels as though Kansas City Chiefs fans have been a part of the journey the entire time. After all, the first time we learned of the two's relationship was at a Chiefs game in September 2023 and they've been happily in love ever since.

The engagement was announced on Tuesday on Swift's Instagram and fans naturally went nuts. Now Swift is a member of Chiefs Kingdom forever and that's pretty dang exciting!

Swift's and Kelce's engagement also made for some entertaining times on social media. From hilarious posts on X from the Goodyear Blimp saying they wanted to be the flower girl in the wedding to Buffalo Wild Wings offering to cater the wedding of the century, it was a lot of fun on social media, something that can't be said very often.

The best jokes that emerged, however, were also some of the more mean-spirited ones, at least when it comes to other teams in the NFL. Those, of course, were the easy cheap shots about how Swift now has more rings than the Buffalo Bills. This also applies to the Cincinnati Bengals and the Lamar Jackson-led Ravens but it's funnier when it's directed at the Bills considering the strong rivalry they have with Kansas City.

As Chiefs fans are happy to remind everyone of, while their squad has won three Super Bowls in the last six years (and been to five of the last six Super Bowls), the Bills have won zero championships in zero attempts. To make matters worse for Buffalo, in four of their last five playoff appearances, the Chiefs have been the team to end their season.

And to make matters even worse than that, if that's possible, the Bills have handled the Chiefs in the regular season. It's been the playoffs where they can't get over that Kansas City-sized hump. That's why now these jokes are going to be out in full force.

Hey, no lies are detected though, right? Swift has a giant rock on her finger and the Bills players can't say the same thing until they finally get over that hump and win it all. For now, Chiefs fans can continue picking those low-hanging jokes and sending them Bills fans' way.
