Team president Dan Ventrelle 'no longer with the Raiders organization'

The Las Vegas Raiders have had one of the busiest offseasons in terms of free agency and trades, during a span where there are plenty of contenders to choose from. On the field, they've brought in All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams and re-signed quarterback three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Carr to a massive extension, among other moves.

In the front office, they hired Dave Ziegler to be their new general manager and on the sideline, they secured Josh McDaniels as their next head coach. The organization announced a move on Friday afternoon however, that is sure to cause more questions than answers in the immediate future.

Ventrelle took over as the Raiders team president on an interim basis when Marc Badain resigned in July 2021 and was named full time president following this past season. He joined the Raiders in 2003 an eventually worked his way up to become the team's executive vice president and general counsel.
