Teams have 'questions' about 2019 Pro Bowl WR Kenny Golladay?

Kenny Golladay may not be getting the star treatment in free agency that he was expecting. ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports that teams have "questions" about the receiver and "are interested only at certain price points."

With Chris Godwin and Allen Robinson both getting franchise tagged before they could enter free agency, Golladay seemed like he was in a prime position to be the most valuable receiver on the free-agent market. At age 27, he's had multiple 1,000-yard receiving seasons and even led the league with 11 receiving touchdowns in 2019.

However, after missing all but five games last season, there seem to be some concerns about giving Golladay a massive payday. Even the Giants, who were believed to be in aggressive pursuit of Golladay, are hesitant to pull the trigger. Raanan said the notion that the Giants were going "all-out" to get Golladay was "incorrect."

Of course, it's still early, and once teams get a look at the lack of reliable free-agent receivers available, they may begin offering Golladay bigger deals in order to not walk away empty-handed. Though with this year's draft class looking loaded with pass-catchers, Golladay may end up having to settle for less money than he originally hoped for.
