As the attention around the NFL shifts to the 2025 season, teams across the league will soon enter the free agency period.
With the market set to open on March 12, some NFL stars are potentially on the move, including Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.
The veteran wideout has been with the Bengals since being selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, joining quarterback Joe Burrow.
Last season, Higgins recorded 10 touchdowns and 911 yards on 73 receptions.
While the Bengals still have the ability to franchise tag Higgins, he may be the most highly touted name in free agency.
Scott Engel at NJ.com predicts that Higgins will land with the Washington Commanders, playing alongside the Offensive Rookie of the Year, quarterback Jayden Daniels.
The Bengals finished the season with a 9-8 record, the second straight nine-win season that did not result in a playoff berth. Cincinnati missed the playoff mark despite a talented roster with Higgins, Burrow, fellow wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and defensive end Trey Hendrickson.
As the Bengals look to climb back into Super Bowl contention, the re-signing of Higgins will be a significant decision for the franchise.
If Higgins were to make the move and join Washington, he would be playing with one of the most promising young stars in the NFL.
During his rookie season, Daniels passed for 25 touchdowns and 3,568 yards with a 69.0 completion percentage. He also added six touchdowns and 891 yards on the ground.
The Commanders finished the season with a 14-6 record, including a surprising run to the NFC Championship Game, where the season ended with a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
