The Tennessee Titans needed to address their offensive tackle depth after losing a key backup, leaving the position with two inexperienced players outside of Dan Moore Jr. and JC Latham. Oli Udoh remains unsigned, and John Ojukwu signed a reserve/future deal with the Philadelphia Eagles in January. Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson logged just one snap at left tackle as a rookie, while his other 17 snaps came as an extra offensive lineman, and Ryan Hayes has yet to play in a regular-season snap on offense.
According to Adam Schefter, the Titans have signed former Chargers offensive tackle Austin Deculus. The former sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft is on his fifth team and entering his fifth year in the league. Deculus brings depth and experience, having logged 543 of 584 snaps at left tackle and 22 at right tackle, including six regular-season starts.

The Los Angeles Chargers acquired Austin Deculus from the Houston Texans during roster cuts for a conditional 2027 seventh-round pick to serve as the swing tackle. He filled in for most of Week 4 at left tackle and started Weeks 5-10, missing Weeks 8 and 9 due to an ankle injury, and he was later a healthy scratch in Weeks 13 and 14. He filled in Week 16, rotated in Week 17, and started Week 18 before missing the Wild Card with an oblique injury. Deculus allowed 37 pressures, 19 hurries, 11 quarterback hits, and seven sacks across 13 games and five starts, accounting for 476 snaps at LT, 22 at RT, and 18 as an extra offensive lineman, totaling 516 snaps.
