The Tennessee Titans were on the ropes when it comes to hoping that their backup quarterback would be good to go for this upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks. This was due to an incident that resulted in an injury that Mitchell Trubisky suffered during a practice earlier this week and left many ignorant of the diagnosis.

Here is the latest on what we know.

The Latest on Mitchell Trubisky’s Injury He Suffered on Monday

Despite suffering an injury during practice, Trubisky was back in action, having survived what looked to be a severe issue with his throwing arm. He was being examined for a possible bicep injury, which is never a good sign when it comes to the quarterback position and is also something that is going to need to be monitored by this staff closely, especially considering the season hasn’t even started yet.

This is a big relief for many, including the talented quarterback, who has previous starting experience with teams such as the Chicago Bears. It is also a relief for the Titans, as the veteran of this room will be able to continue to work hands-on with second-year quarterback Cam Ward.

Will Levis and Hendon Hooker Likely Take a Backseat

When it comes to the remainder of the quarterbacks on the roster, they are probably going to take a step back due to the fact that they were already behind Trubisky on the depth chart before he was taken out of practice and walked to the locker room following his injury earlier this week.

Hendon Hooker is receiving a massive loss in this situation, as it finally looked like he was going to get his first chance to work with the team during team period this week. Hooker has done great things during his limited reps and was finally looking to get a chance to compete for a roster spot, but he will now likely maintain his reserve role that many have already predicted.

As for Levis, he is still in a competition with the backup quarterback, but it does seem that he has fallen behind. This means that despite no one wanting to see an injury, Levis is affected in a negative way.
