Teven Jenkins Leaves Monday Night Football with Injury
Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bears struck first against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night. However, the team might have lost a huge piece of their offensive line that was finally healthy for the first time all season in Week 11. The line could not stay healthy together for more than a game and change.

On the Bears' field goal kick in the second quarter, Teven Jenkins left the game in a lot of pain. From the highlight, it looks like Jenkins might have re-aggravated the neck injury that he previously suffered.

Jenkins has yet to return to the game. If his neck is in fact the issue at hand, Jenkins' season could very well be over. After taking another huge step forward as a dominant guard in the NFL this season, Jenkins might've suffered yet another major setback.

The Bears were already without a pair of starters on Monday Night Football. Now, the Jenkins injury adds insult to injury.

Luckily, Jenkins returned to the field at his usual guard position. Although Jenkins will likely play through pain on Monday night, Jenkins' name might've graced the Week 13 injury report if not for the bye week. With the Bears on break, Jenkins will have plenty of time to heal ahead of their Week 14 contest with the Detroit Lions.
