Texans 'not responding' to teams inquiring about Deshaun Watson?

While Deshaun Watson requested a trade, the Houston Texans have no intention of accommodating his demand.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, the Texans "aren't responding" to teams inquiring about a trade for Watson:

"What I do know is that, at least the last time I checked, Watson isn't responding to the Texans' attempts to get in touch with him, and the Texans aren't responding to teams trying to fish in that pond. To gain any sort of idea of what'll happen next will take movement on those fronts. And the Texans don't really have to do anything yet, because it's not like Watson's value will plummet if they don't move him soon."

Texans general manager Nick Caserio said last month that the team has "zero interest" in trading Watson, which doesn't come as a surprise given his immense talent. However, it's worth noting that the Texan may not have a say in the matter. If Watson wants out of Houston, he could hold out of practices, and even games, until he gets what he desires.

The 25-year-old's top destinations are reportedly the New York Jets, where he'd team up with Robert Saleh, and the Miami Dolphins, where he'd work alongside Brian Flores.
