Texans QB Case Keenum Joins NFLPA Executive Committee

During the NFL Players Association's annual meeting in Arizona, players convened to address union matters and pivotal decisions.

Case Keenum, a seasoned journeyman quarterback with over a decade of experience, who has moved through various teams including the Browns, Vikings, Bills, and Broncos, secured a spot on the executive committee.

In Arizona, Keenum, a former University of Houston standout, was appointed to a two-year term within the NFLPA's executive committee.

In three total seasons with the Texans since 2013, Keenum has a 3-9 record and has thrown for 2,486 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. In his career, he has thrown for over 15,000 yards and has had 79 total passing touchdowns

Joining Keenum is former Texans player linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin, now serving as president for the Detroit Lions.

“I am honored by the trust that the Board has shown in me and I will work hard to be a voice and advocate for all players," Reeves-Maybin said. "It will be my mission to continue to serve and unify our membership, and I look forward to inspiring more players to use their voice in advocating for the union and our game.”

Reeves-Maybin steps into the position previously held by JC Tretter, who completed two consecutive terms but cycled off NFLPA leadership due to not being on an NFL roster this past season.
