After four consecutive seasons of being a 1000-yard rusher, Nick Chubb's 2023 season came to an end after just two games due to a gruesome knee injury.

He made his return to the field for the Browns in week seven of 2024, but two months later, he endured another season-ending injury, this time a broken foot.

Chubb recently signed a 1 year, $2,500,000 contract with the Texans. He spoke to the media on Wednesday and adressed any lingering injury concerns.

"That's all behind me," Chubb said, regarding any injury concerns.

"I'm feeling as good as I have been in a long time," he continued.

At 29 years old, Chubb is entering his eighth NFL season. A four-time pro bowler, Chubb's best season came in 2022, when he rushed for 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns.

In eight games last year, Chubb rushed for 332 yards on 102 attempts with three touchdowns. He also had five receptions for 31 yards and a a receiving touchdown.

The 2025 season will be Chubb's first season not spent in Cleveland. He joins a Texans' backfield headlined by Joe Mixon, along with Dameon Pierce and rookie Woody Marks.

Chubb talked about how he'll always be grateful for his time in Cleveland, but he's ready to get things going in Houston and feels like he's a perfect fit.

"I was questioning why they wanted me, and then I came here and saw a bunch of guys who like to work and not talk, and I realized that I'm a perfect fit," Chubb said.
