Texans WR Randall Cobb has 'significant' toe injury, will miss several weeks

The Houston Texans will be without two of their top wide receivers against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Kenny Stills and Randall Cobb both have been ruled out for Thursday's game with injuries. Cobb is being placed on injured reserve with a "significant" toe injury, according to the Houston Chronicle, and will miss several weeks.

Both players suffered the injuries during last weekend's game against the New England Patriots.

Cobb joined the Texans this season after eight years with the Green Bay Packers and one year with the Dallas Cowboys. The 30-year-old has 38 receptions for 441 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Stills, meanwhile, is in his second season with Houston after four years with the Miami Dolphins and two with the New Orleans Saints. He has 11 receptions for 144 yards and one touchdown on the season.

Keke Coutee likely will have to step up on Thursday, and he did so last weekend against the Patriots, scoring a touchdown on a six-yard reception.
