Happy 60th birthday to five-time Pro Bowler, three-time Super Bowl champion and 2007 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Michael Irvin!
Irvin was selected 11th-overall out of Miami in the 1988 NFL Draft and one of the key cogs in the Dallas Cowboys dynasty of the 1990s. After a relatively slow start to his career, Irvin broke out in 1991 by leading the NFL with 1,523 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 93 receptions. It was the first of seven 1,000-yard campaigns in the next nine years for Irvin, who is currently second all-time in Cowboys history with 11,904 yards in his career.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players in NFL history to rack up at least 1,500-receiving-yards in a season can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
