Happy 40th birthday to Chris “CJ2K,” Johnson!
Johnson played 10 NFL seasons and was one of the most consistent backs in the NFL during his prime. After being drafted by the Tennessee Titans out of East Carolina in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft, eclipsing 1,000-rushing-yards in all six of his seasons in Nashville. His best season came in 2009, when he scampered his way into the exclusive 2,000-rushing-yard season club with 2,006 yards and 14 touchdowns en route to the Offensive Player of the Year award.
Johnson was a Titan through 2013, and his 7,965 rushing yards in Tennessee are good for the fourth-most in franchise history behind just Eddie George, Derrick Henry and Earl Campbell.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. There have been nine running backs in NFL history to rush for at least 2,000 yards in the regular season. How many of those running backs can you name in four minutes?
Good luck!
