The '2000's Defensive Rookies of the Year' quiz

Jets fans will be hoping for a major change in fortune in the new Aaron Glenn-era, but there are a couple areas of continuity they’d like to maintain. One of those is star defensive back Sauce Gardner, who at least sounds like he wants to be a Jet long term.

“I just wanted to show my teammates and coaches how bought into this I am,” Gardner said when asked about participating in minicamp amid contract negotiations.

“I want to win. I want to be part of change in this organization.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. In his three seasons with the Jets so far, Gardner has made two Pro Bowls, been named First Team All-NFL twice and was named the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2022. With that being said, how many of the AP Defensive Rookies of the Year since 2000 can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
