The '2009 NFL Week 1 starting QBs' quiz

After a shaky first two weeks of the 2026 season, Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers got their first signature win of the campaign with a 30-27 win over Cincinnati in Week 3. Rodgers had his best game of the year, throwing for 292 yards with three touchdowns and an interception while involving nine different receivers on his 19 completions. 

Their next opponent is against another division-rival from Ohio in the Cleveland Browns, who welcome Rodgers and Co. to the Dawg Pound for "Thursday Night Football." The Browns are coming off of their second victory of the year, a 21-18 home win over the Carolina Panthers. 

Rodgers has historically played well against Cleveland, tossing multiple touchdowns without an interception in each of his first four games against the Browns. But Cleveland can take heart from shutting them down in Week 17 last year, holding the Pittsburgh offense to just six points in a game that had playoff implications for the Steelers. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Rodgers’ first clash with the Browns came back in 2009 in his second season as a full-time starting quarterback. With that being said, can you name every quarterback to start in Week 1 of that season?
