After spending three seasons backing up Bryce Young with the Carolina Panthers, 38 year old veteran Andy Dalton is headed to Philadelphia.

The Eagles sent a 2027 seventh-round pick to Carolina for Dalton after not retaining Sam Howell as Jalen Hurts’ No. 2 and the Panthers brought in former Eagle Kenny Pickett to be their backup.

The “Red Rifle,” started seven games over his three campaigns in Carolina, going 1-6. The 1 came in 2024, when he was inserted into the lineup for an injured Bryce Young and went off for 319 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Las Vegas. Dalton started just once in 2025 and did not look great, going 16-for-24 with 175 yards and an interception and two lost fumbles in a 40-9 loss to Buffalo.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Dalton began his now 16-year career back in 2011-12 with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he finished second in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting behind Cam Newton.
