With Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy sidelined with an ankle injury for Week 3 against Cincinnati, it’s officially a backup bowl with Jake Browning set to replace Joe Burrow for the Bengals.
For the Vikings, it will be former second-overall NFL Draft pick turned journeyman Carson Wentz taking the snaps for head coach Kevin O’Connell. When he does take the field in Week 3, Wentz will make history as the first quarterback to start a game for six different teams over six NFL seasons.
While Wentz hasn’t been a regular starter since the 2021 season with the Colts, he’s gotten starts in his stops at Washington, Los Angeles and Kansas City before signing with the Vikings this offseason.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Wentz started his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, starting all 16 games of his rookie season in 2016. With that being said, can you name every team’s Week 1 starting signal caller for the 2016 NFL season?
Good luck!
