Happy 62nd birthday to 14-year NFL quarterback, College Football Playoff champion head coach at Michigan and current Los Angeles Chargers leader, Jim Harbaugh!

After making his NFL debut as a coach with the San Francisco 49ers in 2011, Harbaugh won 44 regular season games and brought the Niners to Super Bowl XLVII with Colin Kaepernick, where he lost to his brother John and the Ravens. Harbaugh moved to the college ranks to coach at his alma mater after the 2014-15 season, where he spent the next nine seasons. He’d win the 2021 AP Coach of the Year award and 2022 Big 10 Coach of the Year before leading J.J. McCarthy and Co. to Michigan’s first national title since 1997-98 in his final year in Ann Arbor.

Harbaugh took the Chargers job after Brandon Staley was fired following the 2023 season. Since making his return to the NFL, Harbaugh’s partnership with quarterback Justin Herbert has resulted in a 22-10 record.
