The '2025 NFL receiving leaders' quiz

The Baltimore Ravens signed star wide receiver Zay Flowers to a four-year, $140 million contract extension on Wednesday, and it didn’t take long for him to start trying to throw some of his weight around the organization. 

With two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson also looking for a new deal, Flowers made it very clear where he wants the negotiations to end. 

“I want him to be my quarterback because, to me, he’s the best in the world,” the fourth-year pro told ESPN.

After a strong rookie campaign in 2023, Flowers has established himself as the Ravens WR1 of the future with back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns and a career-high 86 receptions in 2025. In three seasons, he’s hauled in 237 passes for 3,128 yards and 14 touchdowns in 50 games. 

With an offense featuring Flowers, Jackson and veterans like Derrick Henry and Mark Andrews, the Ravens have a chance to score points in bunches if they stay healthy.
