The 2026 NFL season begins on Wednesday night, with 32 men tasked with attempting to lead groups of 53 to lifting a Lombardi Trophy in February. Some will overachieve, some will underachieve and some won’t be head coaches at all by the end of the season.
There are 10 head coaches entering their first campaign with their given team, while Kansas City’s Andy Reid is the longest-tenured at 14 years after the departures of Mike Tomlin from Pittsburgh and John Harbaugh from Baltimore last season.
Seattle’s Mike MacDonald has the enviable task of defending a Super Bowl title, a quest that begins in the league’s season-opener against the New England Patriots.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the 32 NFL head coaches to start the 2026 season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
