The '24 NFL TD's before turning 24' quiz

Since Detroit Lions Hall of Famer Barry Sanders scored his 47th touchdown before turning 24 years old in 1991, no other NFL player has matched his total. But with Sanders in attendance for the Lions ‘Thursday Night Football,’ win over the Dallas Cowboys, he got some company.

Current Lions star running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for three touchdowns in the pivotal 44-30 win to tie him with Sanders for the most total touchdowns in NFL history before their 24th birthday. Despite sharing backfield touches with David Montgomery – who has a nose for the end zone himself – Gibbs tied with Derrick Henry and James Cook for the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL in 2024-25 (16). In his first three seasons out of Alabama, Gibbs has yet to rack up fewer than 11 total touchdowns in a season and already has 16 in 2025.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. With over 100 days until Gibbs turns 24 and four games left in the regular season, Gibbs will almost certainly break Sanders’ record. With that being said, can you name every player to score at least 24 total touchdowns in the NFL before their 24th birthday?
