After nine seasons of confounding the NFC South, New Orleans Saints quarterback/running back/tight end said he’s leaving the team early into training camp.
Hill was a Swiss army knife in his almost-decade in the Big Easy, rushing for 34 touchdowns, throwing 12 and catching six in his do-it-all role. Entering his age-36 season, Hill hasn’t indicated where or if he’ll play football in 2026.
“I’ve taken time to think carefully about what’s next for my family and me. I still don’t have a clear answer about what the future holds, but I know that returning to New Orleans is not in the cards,” he said in a farewell on social media.
The former BYU Cougar leaves New Orleans with 2,246 passing yards, 2,251 rushing yards, and 1,034 receiving yards, making him just the third player in NFL history with 2K/2K/1K in their career.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to rush for two touchdowns and throw another in the same NFL game since 1980 can you name in nine minutes?
Good luck!
