A.J. Brown made his New England Patriots home debut after missing the last 4+ games with the ankle sprain he suffered in Week 1, and while the Pats got the victory, the veteran showed some rust.

After catching just 3-of-10 targets for 27 yards with a career-high three drops in his return, Brown said he’s identified what went wrong and isn’t worried.

“I think getting open was the hardest part. I just didn’t make the play,” he said.

“I watched the film, I put it to bed. I’m moving forward.”

Taking on a high-flying Chicago Bears offense on ‘Thursday Night Football,’ and now without fellow wide receiver Romeo Doubs, Week 7 would be a great time for Brown to make his first real impact as a Patriot.
