The 'Big weekend for fans of gold sport coats' quiz

Last weekend, Cooperstown enshrined the class of 2017 into its hallowed halls. This weekend, it's the Pro Football Hall of Fame's turn to get some new members.

The Class of 2017 is mostly made up of unassuming superstars who let their play on the field do the talking. Kurt Warner was about as down to Earth as as a Super Bowl MVP could be due to his humble career beginnings, while Terrell Davis and LaDainian Tomlinson were rocks in the backfield year after year for the Broncos and Chargers, respectively. Jason Taylor went from being 'pretty much homeless' to the NFL while Kenny Easley was a hard-hitting strong safety who would fit right in today with the Legion of Boom. Morten Andersen made kicking into a performance art on his way to becoming the NFL's all-time leader in both points and games played. And then there's Jerry Jones.

No one would ever describe Jerry Jones as either 'assuming' or 'humble'. But there's an argument to be made that Jones has been the most influential presence in the NFL from the moment he took ownership of the Dallas Cowboys nearly 30 years ago. Earlier this week, our own resident Cowboys fan Fidel Martinez summed up Jerry Jones' NFL legacy about as well as anyone can:

Jerry Jones is one of the most detestable figures in sports. He fired Tom Landry, he screwed over two cities, he's one of the most ardent deniers of football injuries causing CTE despite the overwhelming evidence linking the two — take your pick. But just as he is deserving of your ire, he's also deserving of having his bust in Canton. Jerry Jones envisioned a world where football owned more than one day of the week, and he made it happen. Love him or hate him, pro football has grown because of him.

Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Jones was not elected in his first year on the ballot, but two members from the Class of 2017, Tomlinson and Taylor, were able to pull of the feat, becoming the 72nd and 73rd players to achieve that honor. With that in mind, how many of these no-doubt-about-it Pro Football Hall of Famers can you name in eight minutes?

Good luck!

Note: List does not include the 17 players from the charter class elected in 1963 or coaches who were elected in their first year of eligibility.
