The '400-touch NFL seasons' quiz

Happy 41st birthday to three-time Pro Bowler, 2009 First Team All-Pro honoree and Offensive Player of the Year, Chris Johnson!

Johnson was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft out of East Carolina, and after a 1,200-yard rookie season earned the nickname “CJ2K,” after reaching the 2,000-rushing-yard milestone in 2009. He rushed for 2,006 yards, 14 touchdowns and 80 first downs on a staggering 358 carries. He added 50 receptions for 503 yards in that campaign to finish with 2,509 yards from scrimmage and 16 total touchdowns. 

While he never reached those heights again, Johnson rushed for at least 1,000 yards in each of his first six NFL seasons, starting all but three games for the Titans in that span. After spending 2014 with the Jets, Johnson spent the rest of his 10-year career with the Cardinals in Arizona. He retired after the 2017 campaign with 9,651 yards and 55 touchdowns to his name, and if not for one Derrick Henry would be the Titans single-season record holder in both rushing yards and touchdowns. 

Sadly, Johnson is suffering from ALS (or Lou Gherig’s Disease), but his platform has helped bring about the return of the “Ice Bucket Challenge,” to raise funds and awareness for the disease. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. When Johnson was with the Titans, the game plan was often “give the ball to Chris, then give it to him again.” With that being said, can you name every NFL player with a 400-touch season to their credit?
