Heading into the second season of the Brian Schottenheimer Era in Dallas, the Cowboys are hoping to get back to the postseason for the first time since 2023 following back-to-back seven-win seasons.
One key to that will be the dynamic wide receiver duo of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens that quarterback Dak Prescott has at his disposal. After the pair combined for 2,506 yards and 12 touchdowns despite Lamb missing three games last year, the 27-year-old explained what he thinks they bring to the table.
“We can be real, real vicious together,” Lamb told Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys’ website.
“I know that. He knows that. Every day we strive to do it. We’ve had a lot of success together, but I know there’s much more out there for us.”
The offense wasn’t the issue for the Cowboys last season, finishing second as a team in yards-per-game and seventh in points-per-game while boasting a 4,500-yard passer, 1,200-yard rusher and two 1,000-yard receivers. If their NFL-worst 30.1-points-per-game defense can improve, the Cowboys should compete for the NFC East.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Despite recording fewer than 100 receptions for the first time since his rookie season, Lamb still reached the 1,000-yard milestone for the fifth-consecutive year. With that being said, can you name every NFL player in the Super Bowl Era (since 1966) with at least five 1,000-yard campaigns to their credit?
Good luck!
