Happy 26th birthday to Super Bowl LX champion and MVP, two-time 1,000-yard rusher and the NFL’s current leader in rushing yards for the 2026 season, Kenneth Walker III!

Walker was a second-round NFL Draft pick by the Seattle Seahawks out of Michigan State, and he rewarded Seattle with 1,050 yards and nine rushing touchdowns as a rookie in 2022 and he was similarly productive in 2023 before an injury-hampered 2024.

He rebounded last year as a fourth-year Pro last year, racking up 1,027 yards and another five scores while splitting the backfield with Zach Charbonnet. When Charbonnet went down with injury, Walker reclaimed his true bellcow status in the playoffs, racking up 313 yards and four touchdowns on 65 attempts throughout the postseason with 135 of those yards coming against New England in the Super Bowl.

Seattle allowed Walker to leave in free agency after the Super Bowl and he’s settled nicely into his new home in Kansas City. He’s rewarded the Chiefs three-year, $43 million investment in him with 665 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns through just five games in 2026.
