The 'Active 3-passing-TD NFL games' quiz

Heading into Week 4, the sky seemed to be falling around New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, with speculation about an injured shoulder and fractured relationship with head coach Mike Vrabel. But after throwing for 269 yards and three touchdowns to hand the Buffalo Bills their first loss of the 2026 season, Pats fans will hope they’re putting the dysfunction behind them. 

After the win, Maye opened up about his mindset through the early-season roller coaster that has them at 2-2.

“I’ve been smiling,” Maye said. 

“You come in 1-2 and leave 2-2, but you can’t hang your hat. This is the league. I know I’ve got to play better and still left some stuff out there today. We’ve got to build on it.”

After throwing for 4,394 yards and 31 touchdowns to eight interceptions last year, Maye has already thrown seven interceptions to four TDs  in 2026. But with a 3:1 ratio in Week 4 and a matchup with the Raiders looming, the New England faithful will hope he’s turning the corner.
