Another week, another one-score win for the undefeated San Francisco 49ers.
Behind two rushing touchdowns from Christian McCaffrey, a clean game from quarterback Brock Purdy and a sack of Jayden Daniels on the final play of the game, the Niners survived a second half rally from the Washington Commanders to win 23-17 and improve to 6-0.
While San Francisco continued to prove themselves as one of the best teams in the NFL so far in 2026, the loss for Washington completed an ignominious achievement for the NFC East, which became the first division not to win a game in two straight weeks.
After the Niners traded a George Kittle touchdown reception for a 51-yard Drew Stevens field goal in the first quarter, McCaffrey scored a pair of one-yard touchdowns to put San Francisco up 20-3 heading into halftime. While San Fran scored just three points in a second half that saw them lose Mike Evans to injury, the lead was enough for the Niners to remain perfect.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Week 6 was the 14th time in McCaffrey’s career he’s rushed for two touchdowns in the same game. With that being said, can you name how many of the active players to do so at least four times?
Good luck!
