Jared Verse spent the first two seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Rams and looked like one of the premier up-and-coming defensive prospects in the NFL. 

That’s why when the Cleveland Browns sent Myles Garrett to the Rams this offseason, they made sure Verse would join them as part of the deal. 

Verse was selected with the 19th-overall pick of the 2024 draft out of Florida State and his 66 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and recoveries earned him 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. He saw that sack total climb to 7.5 in his second-consecutive Pro Bowl season in 2025, forced another three fumbles and even scored a touchdown returning a blocked field goal 73 yards against the Atlanta Falcons.

While verse is yet to get his first sack as a Brown, he did record three tackles and a quarterback hit against Bryce Young in Cleveland’s first win of the season over Carolina in Week 3. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. By adding Verse, the Browns defense now boasts the two most recent Defensive Rookies of the Year. With that being said, can you name every player to win that award since 2000?
