The dreaded day every Chicago Bears fan was afraid of has arrived.

The Baba Yaga, Boogeyman, Bad Man, Bear Killer, whatever name you use is coming back to Soldier Field in 2025.

After all the offseason drama and the will he / won't he debates, Aaron Rodgers has made it official. He will join the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday, according to NFL Media' Tom Pelissero.

The Steelers are set to hold mandatory minicamp next week and now the multi-time MVP will be in the building competing for the starting quarterback job against Mason Rudolph and rookie Will Howard, and let's be honest, it won't be much of a battle.

Given Rodgers' pedigree and history in the NFL, he should easily have the runway to win the starting job in Pittsburgh and lead the offense for the 2025 season.

Rodgers will face the Bears in Chicago in Week 12

With this now confirmed, finally, we will be seeing Rodgers take on the Bears in Week 12 when the Steelers visit Soldier Field for an early window showdown.

Rodgers, who's previously claimed to "Own The Bears" has quite a historic career against the team. Overall, he's 24-5 in his career against Chicago with 64 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions in those 29 games.

Back in May, Rodgers teased this exact outcome taking place during the 2025 season.

I believe there's a team that might play in Chicago this year on a road trip," Rodgers said. "I don't know, not sure. Got to check it out. I love Chicago, though. Way more than they love me. It's been a great relationship. All one way."

Bears fans have to hate seeing this news. Fortunately, this should be one of the best Bears rosters Rodgers has ever faced in his career, and at 41-years-old, the Chicago could look to end things on a high note against the feared rival.
