Paycor Stadium, the name of the Cincinnati Bengals' stadium which Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely forgot, has become a venue for momentous musicians to perform inside.

Taylor Swift and Luke Combs have each come to town over the last two years for jam-packed concerts, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Billy Joel was supposed to be next this fall.

Joel announced all of his 2025 concerts, including Sept. 20 show at the Bengals' home stadium, are cancelled. The 76-year old artist was recently diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). Per his statement, his condition has been "exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision and balance," and he's been advised to stop performing for the time being.

Joel was scheduled to be joined by Rod Stewart for the one night concert in late September. The Bengals had announced the show back in January.

The concert likely had an impact on Cincinnati's regular season schedule. The Bengals are playing their home-opener on Sunday, Sept. 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will then play at the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 21, the same weekend the show was scheduled to take place. They don't return back to Paycor Stadium until Oct. 5 to host Cincinnati native David Montgomery and the Detroit Lions

Joel cancelling the show means nothing will happen at the stadium that weekend. The Bengals receive a portion of revenue for concerts held at Paycor Stadium, and they will not see any from Joel's now cancelled tour.

As for fans who purchased tickets, refunds will be automatically processed back to the original payment used for purchase.

It's unfortunate for the Bengals and Cincinnatians hoping to see Joel perform. The legendary talent last put on a show in the Queen City in 2021 when he played at Great American Ball Park, the home of the Cincinnati Reds.

More importantly, all the best to Joel in his road to recovery.
