The Colts hosted a 2 time Super Bowl champ for a visit

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted Edwards with the 99th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Edwards spent his first four seasons in the league with the Buccaneers, where he appeared in 58 games and recorded 21 pass deflections, seven interceptions, and returned three of them for touchdowns. He also won a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2021.

This past year, Edwards signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. He appeared in all 17 games and was the starter for five. He recorded one interception and five pass deflections. He didn't return his interception for a touchdown last season, but he did return a fumble recovery to the house for a touchdown, bringing his defensive touchdown total to four in his career. 

The Colts still need to add a starter at both safety spots this offseason. Edwards has played both SS and FS, so if they choose to sign him, they'd have extra flexibility when deciding how to finalize their roster through free agency and the NFL Draft.
