The Dolphins' 2026 schedule offers no shortage of familiar faces in new places

The Miami Dolphins' sweeping changes don't just impact the fans and Miami's roster.

It's yielded a mass exodus of talent from South Florida to create a pipeline elsewhere across the league. And as we get closer and closer to the start of the 2026 season in the months ahead, the reality is going to sink in that the Dolphins will see many of their old friends on the schedule this season. Whether those matchups come at home or on the road, a large number of Miami's former talent will get a proverbial "revenge game" in 2026.

Which former Miami Dolphins will play against the team in 2026?

The biggest possible revenge game is off the table. The Dolphins will not see their former quarterback in 2026 unless it comes in the Super Bowl (...let's not hold our breath on that one). Tua Tagovailoa and the Atlanta Falcons are not on the schedule. But plenty of the 2025 team's other players are. Mark your calendars accordingly when the schedule comes out later this spring. There's going to be no shortage of familiar faces in new places. And the vast a majority of them will be coming back to play at Hard Rock Stadium at some point or another.
