And as we get closer and closer to the start of the 2026 season in the months ahead, the reality is going to sink in that the Dolphins will see many of their old friends on the schedule this season. Whether those matchups come at home or on the road, a large number of Miami's former talent will get a proverbial "revenge game" in 2026.
The biggest possible revenge game is off the table. The Dolphins will not see their former quarterback in 2026 unless it comes in the Super Bowl (...let's not hold our breath on that one).
