The NFL released it’s Quarter Century Team earlier this week which included the best players in the league from 2000-2024. Surprisingly, there was only one player affiliated with the Green Bay Packers on the league’s Quarter Century Team and that was Julius Peppers, who spent three seasons with the Packers. But here is the Packers Quarter Century Team on offense, as selected by the editors of The Packers Post. The players contributions when they played for the Packers are the only things considered for this team. Also, anything these players did before 2000 is not taken into consideration. Feel free to comment as to who you thought belongs on this team.

The Packers Quarter Century Team on Offense: Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers started for the Packers from 2008 until 2022. The former Cal star earned Pro Bowl honors 10 times, won four NFL MVPs and helped lead the Packers to a win in Super Bowl XLV.

Rodgers did a great job of limiting interceptions during his 18 seasons with Green Bay. He threw 475 touchdowns and just 105 interceptions while having a quarterback rating of 103.6.

The Packers traded the future Hall of Famer to the New York Jets after the 2022 season. He will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025.

Running Backs: Ahman Green and Aaron Jones

Ahman Green spent eight seasons with the Packers from 2000-2006 and again in 2009. He earned Pro Bowl honors for four straight seasons from 2001-2004 and had six seasons with 1,000 or more rushing yards. Green remains the Packers all-time leading rusher with 8,322 yards gained and a 4.5-yard average per carry.

Aaron Jones spent seven seasons with the Packers after being drafted in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Jones currently ranks third on the Packers all-time rushing list with 5,940 yards. He was also an excellent receiver out of the backfield. Jones had three 1,000-yard seasons and earned Pro Bowl honors after the 2020 campaign. He was one of the most popular players during his time with the team.

The Packers Quarter Century Team on Offense, Wide Receivers: Davante Adams, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver

Davante Adams spent eight seasons with the Packers. After an inconsistent start to his career, he became a dominant player for his final five years in Green Bay. Adams went to five straight Pro Bowls from 2017-2021 and led the league with 18 touchdown catches in 2020. He caught 669 passes with the Packers for 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns. Adams had outstanding chemistry with Rodgers and possessed elite skills at getting open off the snap of the ball.

Jordy Nelson spent nine seasons with the Packers and had four seasons with 1,000 or more receiving yards. He led the league in touchdown catches in 2014 and was the 2016 NFL Comeback Player of the Year. Nelson had great speed and was able to make big plays. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2014 and was a fan favorite during his time with the team.

Donald Driver went from an obscure seventh-round pick from Alcorn State to become the Packers all-time leading receiver. He had seven 1000-yard receiving seasons and earned Pro Bowl honors four times in his 14 seasons in Green Bay. Nobody has caught more passes in a Packers uniform than the 743 that Driver caught. He gained 10,137 yards and caught 61 touchdown passes. He also was part of the Packers Super Bowl winning team in 2010.

Tight End: Jermichael Finley

This was a close battle, but Jermichael Finley remains the Packers best tight end of the first 25 years of this century.  Tucker Kraft hasn’t played long enough to beat him out, so Finley is the guy. The former Texas star gave the Packers a player who could stretch the field as a tight end. He had three very productive seasons with the team. Unfortunately, injuries ended Finley’s career prematurely. He barely edged out Bubba Franks for this honor.

The Packers Quarter Century Team on Offense, Offensive Tackles: David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga

David Bakhtiari was likely on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame when a knee injury cut his career short. The former Colorado star played 11 seasons for the Packers and earned All Pro honors twice and was named to three Pro Bowls. Bakhtiari was considered one of the best pass blockers of his era and was also a good run blocker as well. Throughout his career, Bakhtiari protected Rodgers’ blind side and did it very well.

Bryan Bulaga spent nine seasons with the Packers and started in each of those nine seasons. He helped the Packers win the Super Bowl in his rookie campaign and provided toughness, leadership and very good pass blocking throughout his career.

Interior Offensive Line: C Corey Linsley, G Elgton Jenkins, G Marco Rivera

Corey Linsley played 99 games with the Packers over seven seasons and started all of them. He was a gutsy player and a leader in the middle of the Green Bay offensive line from 2014-2020.

Elgton Jenkins has played nearly every position along the offensive line but has mostly started at guard. This season, he is expected to move to center. Jenkins has gone to two Pro Bowls and provides the team with very good pass blocking, solid run blocking and the versatility the Packers look for in their offensive linemen.

Marco Rivera spent eight seasons with the Packers and started for seven of them. He earned Pro Bowl honors for three straight seasons between 2002-2004 and did not miss a game between 2000 and 2004 which are the seasons that matter for this team. Rivera played his final two NFL seasons in Dallas.
