The Heyward brothers had a pretty special and emotional day for Steelers in Atlanta

The Pittsburgh Steelers were 19-16 winners over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday to win their second game in a row, and it was the Heyward brothers — Cam and Connor — that played a big role in the win.

It was a very special and emotional day for both of them.

Cam, the Steelers' veteran defensive lineman, recorded a big third down sack in the first half, while his younger brother Connor hauled in a 17-yard touchdown from rookie Kenny Pickett to give the Steelers their only touchdown of the day.

It was a pretty historic day in that sense since it made them the first pair of brothers to record a sack and score a touchdown in the same game, and for the same team, since sacks were officially tracked during the 1982 season.

The touchdown was also Connor's first in the NFL.

What made this all so special is that it happened in Atlanta against the Falcons, which is the team that their dad, Craig "Ironhead" Heyward spent three years of his pro career playing for between 1994-96.

Ironhead Heyward died in 2006 at the age of 39 and never had a chance to see either of his sons play in the NFL.

After the game, Cam addressed the media wearing his dad's Falcons jersey and talked about the significance of his brother scoring a touchdown in the game.
