The Jacksonville Jaguars were easily the biggest losers in free agency in their own division, and may be among the biggest losers out of any NFL team. They simply lost more than they gained, and their outlook on the offseason doesn't get much better.
Liam Coen and James Gladstone will have to find a way to get serious talent through the door in the later rounds of the upcoming draft. Their trade up to get Travis Hunter may have cost them more than they initially thought when they traded for the two-way star. What are they going to miss the most from their offseason departures?
Devin Lloyd was the heart and soul of their defense last season, and is easily their biggest loss of the offseason. What they're going to miss the most from him is the versatility and flexibility he allowed for Anthony Campanile and his defensive schemes.
He could hold his own in coverage, as well as be an impressive pass rusher that gave the rest of their defensive line an advantage. They won't be able to replicate the dominance he had on the field, as he was legitimately a game-wrecker for opposing teams.
Travis Etienne Jr.'s time in Jacksonville has come to a close, and what the Jaguars will miss the most from him is the familiarity he had in their offense. Three of the four seasons he played resulted in over 1,000-yard campaigns, and his connection with Trevor Lawrence had only gotten stronger since college.
His loss will be felt, but to a lesser degree than that of Lloyd's. He had taken a massive step forward in 2025 as a receiving back, and I don't think they'll be able to replicate his production through the air with any of their other running backs.
Andrew Wingard has been a part of the Jaguars' secondary since 2019, and his new home will be in Arizona with the Cardinals. The writing was on the wall for his departure, but he was a reliable piece on defense, which will no longer be there next season.
Despite missing two games due to injury, he was four tackles away from matching his career high and defended against nine passes. Wingard's departure isn't going to make them lose any games, but it could be the difference between making a stop or continuing a drive. All in all, the Jaguars project to be worse due to their offseason losses.
