Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams came into the NFL with little fanfare, getting drafted in the fifth-round of the 2022 draft out of Notre Dame.

But since taking over as the starting running back for the Rams in 2023, he's become one of the most productive ball carriers in the NFL. After back-to-back 1,000+ rushing yard and 12+ rushing touchdowns seasons, Williams is being rewarded with a three-year, $33 million contract extension. 

The deal turns even more attention on the contract negotiations happening between the Buffalo Bills and Williams' draft classmate James Cook, who is also looking to secure his future past his rookie contract.
