The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have gotten off to a putrid 0-4 start and will once again be without the services of quarterback Baker Mayfield on ‘Thursday Night Football’ against the Dallas Cowboys.

If Tampa is going to capture some short-week magic to get their first win of the season with undrafted rookie Jaylon Daniels under center, they’ll hope they can get running back Bucky Irving back to his rookie-year form. After breaking out for 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024, he was limited to just 10 games last year and has been limited to just 241 yards and one TD in 2026.

The good news for Irving and the Bucs is that Dallas has allowed the second-most rushing yards-per-game(150.3), the fifth-most points (28.0) and struggled to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks with just four sacks.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Irving was the first Buccaneers rookie to rush for at least 1,000 yards in a season since Doug Martin in 2012. With that being said, can you name the last 1,000-yard rookie-rusher for each NFL team?
